
ENTRY LEVEL GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT
Office Location: Golden, CO
Position Overview: As a member of the Finance team, the General Ledger Accountant will be
responsible for: executing accounting processes; meeting all deadlines; preparing financial reports and
analyses; and interacting with others with uncompromising integrity. The General Ledger Accountant
reports to the Assistant Controller.

Significant Responsibilities:

Proactively participate in the month end close and reporting process

Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports for managers and executives

Reconcile accounts to the general ledger
-
Prepare and post accounting transactions and journal entries
-
Skillfully prepare analyses of revenue and customer reporting, expense and cost center reporting, and perational productivity and efficiency reporting

Diligently execute day-to-day responsibilities to meet all deadlines
-
Carefully review and input all payroll data

Accurately review and enter vendor invoices

Precisely account for financial transactions including revenue, cash receipts, expenses, payments, and fixed assets

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required, degree in accounting is preferred (if another business major, course work shall include significant accounting classes)

One year of relevant experience is preferred

Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Excel and Word
Compensation/Salary:
The starting pay range for this position is $19 - $21/hr. Compensation and benefits are based on, among other things, primary work location, academic achievements, and previous work experience. ATBS offers competitive wages based on industry standards.
