Office Location: Golden, CO, and Laramie, WY

Position Overview: The Entity Accountant is responsible for inputting data and information for all client materials. The Entity Accountant will also research and gather information from clients and other sources as supporting documentation to prepare balance sheets and income statements.

Significant Responsibilities:

  • Consistently code and data enter client settlements and receipts to the ATBS database; this will be done in a timely and accurate manner in adherence to established procedures

  • Proficiently post corrections and YTD settlements as needed

  • Proficiently handle any material contained within a client's scanned documents that need to be routed to another area under established procedures

  • Respond to weekly query research requests and make corrections when necessary in a timely and accurate manner

  • Diligently process payroll and prepare accurate and prompt payroll reports for clients

  • Be able to answer basic tax or payroll-related questions for queue calls.

  • Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned


Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to comprehend instructions, both verbal and written

  • Proficient knowledge of database, client settlement statements, excel, other office programs, and 10-key by touch

  • Effectively deal with problems and challenges as they arise in the course of the daily job functions

  • Background with accounts payable is helpful but not required

  • Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and associates

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite

  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software is beneficial


Education and/or Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred, or progress towards a degree

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience in business, transportation, or a related financial field may substitute



The starting pay range for this position is $13 - $18/hr. Compensation and benefits are based on, among other things, primary work location, academic achievements, and previous work experience. ATBS offers competitive wages based on industry standards.
