Job Title: Sales Qualifier

Position Overview: If you’re looking to kick-start your career in sales, ATBS’ Inside Sales team – with our “Work-Hard Play-Hard” attitude, positive atmosphere, close-knit team, and family-owned values - is looking for motivated and ambitious professionals to join our team. The Sales Qualifier is responsible for handling the first client-facing interaction with a potential ATBS customer. Qualifying and determing whether a lead is a prospect (someone who would benefit from working with us!) and then passing those folks off to our tenured reps is the core function of the role. This position has a massive effect on the success and bottom line of ATBS - executing and succeeding at the top of the funnel by developing our sales pipeline is what drives revenue at the bottom! At the end of the day your job is to find drivers who need our help – it’s a rewarding feeling knowing you’re making people’s lives better each and every day by introducing them to ATBS!

Job requirements:

  • Own our lead lists with unknown prospect potential
  • Scrub (screen/clean) your lead lists to ensure you aren’t duplicating efforts
  • Engage and process your lead lists through the qualifying funnel ensuring the most qualified leads reach sales
  • Educate potential customers on the value of ATBS services
  • Responsible for directly transferring calls to reps, and scheduling follow-up calls as necessary for the sales team
  • Make large-volume outbound phone calls (and emails) daily to engage our client-base
  • Diligently and accurately track your activity via our SalesForce CRM system
  • Help us define and improve best-practices for the role to always push for greater success!

Qualifications:

  • No sales experience required!
  • Guaranteed strong base compensation – with additional bonus and incentive pay!
  • You’re self-motivated and coachable - you don’t need somebody to tell you to do your job, but you welcome feedback and are willing to self-assess to find ways for improvement
  • You are passionate about customers and improving their lives!
  • You have exceptional communication skills
  • You never back away from challenging conversations and you love to think on your feet
  • Comfortable and competent having conversations via phone and email
  • Eager to learn from experienced sales professionals and grow a career in sales
  • Experience using a computer and email (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.)
  • Strong organization, time management skills, and high attention to detail
  • Proactive vs. reactive in nature
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years’ experience in a customer focused, customer service or sales role
  • A positive, upbeat attitude and a desire to help our business grow by improving people’s lives!

What We Would Prefer, But Not Required:

  • Previous selling experience is always a plus!
  • Previous experience interacting with clients/customers over the phone
  • Previous experience using SalesForce or a comparable sales (CRM) tool
